Terms of Service
Version: tos-v5-2026-10-05
Last updated: 5 October 2026
1. Agreeing to these terms
Blob League is operated by Blob League, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us").
Contact us at admin@blobleague.com.
These Terms are a contract between you and us. You have to agree to them before you can play. If you do not agree, do not use the game.
We will ask you to agree again if we make a material change. Small corrections (fixing a typo, making a sentence clearer) will not interrupt you.
2. Who can play
Blob League is for players of every age.
If you are under 18, or too young where you live to agree to a contract yourself, a parent or guardian has to agree to these Terms for you and is responsible for your use of the game.
The first time you play, we ask the year you were born. If you are younger than the age at which you can agree to the use of your data where you live (13 in the UK and the US; between 13 and 16 in the countries of the EU), your account is restricted until a parent or guardian says yes: no chat, no name or bio of your own, no friend requests, no starting a club and no paying real money. Stardust earned in the game can still be spent. Everything else in the game is the same. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
How a parent or guardian says yes. The child asks from the game by typing the parent or guardian's email address. A company called Kids Web Services writes to them and checks that they are an adult; they then say yes or no on our website. A parent or guardian who says yes agrees to these Terms for the child, and can take the yes back at any time, in the game under Menu → Account → Parent or guardian, or by writing to us. The account is then restricted again: its name goes back to one we make up and its bio is removed. Nothing already bought is refunded for that reason alone.
Answer honestly. We may restrict, refuse or close an account if we reasonably believe this section is not being met.
3. Your account
You can play as a guest or sign in with Google. Either way you have an account, and these Terms apply to it.
- Keep your account secure. You are responsible for what happens on it.
- One person, one account. Do not share it, sell it, buy one, or transfer it.
- Do not use someone else's account, or pretend to be someone else.
- A guest account is tied to your device. We do our best to restore it if you reinstall, but we cannot promise it. A guest account that is not played for 7 days is deleted, with everything on it, and a guest account you delete yourself is gone at once. If you want your progress to last, or to survive losing your phone, link a Google account.
4. Playing fairly
Do not:
- Cheat, use bots, macros, modified clients, or anything that gives you an unfair advantage.
- Interfere with the game's servers, other players' connections, or matchmaking.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the game, except where the law says you may.
- Exploit a bug instead of reporting it. Finding one is fine. Farming it is not.
- Team up with other players in Free For All or Battle Royale, where everyone plays for themselves, or pass mass to another player on purpose to boost them ("feeding"), including another account of your own.
- Use the game to harass, threaten, or abuse anyone.
Computer-controlled players. Free For All and Battle Royale include computer-controlled players, so a match can start without a long wait. They look like other players and play by the same rules, and eating one counts towards your quests, XP and stats like eating anyone else. Ranked and the team modes never have them.
5. Names, bios and chat
You choose your display name and bio, and you can send messages to other players.
Assume everything you type is public. Your name and bio are shown to other players, and chat is visible to the people you are playing with. Do not put anything in them you would not want a stranger to read, including your real name, address, school, phone number, or anyone else's.
You must not post anything that is:
- Abusive, hateful, harassing, or threatening
- Sexual, or aimed at sexualising anyone
- Someone else's private information
- Advertising, spam, or a scam
- Illegal
We filter names, bios and chat automatically, and we can also review them if someone reports them. We can remove or change anything that breaks these rules, including forcing a name change, and we can mute or close accounts.
You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to store it, show it to other players, and use it to run and moderate the game. That permission ends when the content is deleted, except where we have to keep it. See section 9.
6. Stardust and items
Stardust, skins, borders, badges, passes and everything else in the game are licensed to you, not sold. They are not your property, they have no cash value, and they cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to anyone.
- You get a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use them inside Blob League.
- We can change, rebalance, or retire items (including ones you already have) where that is needed to run the game fairly. We will not do it arbitrarily, and we will say so where a change is significant.
- If your account is closed for breaking these Terms, you lose them, and you will not be refunded.
- If we close the game down, we will give reasonable notice, and your right to use these items ends.
Payments are handled by Apple or Google, not by us. Refunds go through their store policies. We can help you find the right process, but we cannot issue a store refund ourselves.
We do not offer loot boxes or randomised paid rewards.
Seasons and the Blob Pass. The game runs in seasons. The Blob Pass belongs to one season: you receive each tier's reward as soon as you reach it, and everything you have received is yours to keep after the season ends. When a new season starts, the pass starts again from the first tier, and ranked ranks start again with it.
Things that cost Stardust. Some actions cost Stardust as well as items: for example creating a club, or changing your name after the first time. The price is always shown before you confirm.
7. Fair play enforcement
How we moderate. We filter names, bios and chat automatically. Any player can report another from a match, a profile or the friends list; reports are read by a person on our staff, who looks at what was actually said in the match, not only at the report. We act more quickly on reports of threats, of a child at risk, or of someone at risk of harming themselves, and we pass those on to the police or the right authority where the law or someone's safety needs it.
If you break these Terms we may, depending on how serious it is: warn you, remove content, force a name change, mute you, suspend you, or close your account permanently. We will try to match the response to what happened and to your history.
You are told. When we act on your account, the game tells you what we did, the reason, and until when.
You can ask us to look again. Write to admin@blobleague.com. A person, where possible not the one who acted, will look at it again and answer within a week. If we were wrong, we undo it.
8. The game changes, and can end
Blob League is an online service and it changes. We add and remove modes, adjust balance, run seasons, and take servers down for maintenance. We may stop offering it entirely. If we do, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
We do not promise the game will always be available, bug-free, or lag-free.
9. Deleting your account
You can delete your account from Menu → Account → Delete account, or at https://blobleague.com/account/delete without installing the game.
An account signed in with Google is disabled straight away and permanently deleted after 30 days. Sign in before then to cancel. A guest account is deleted at once and for good: there is nothing to sign in with to take it back. When an account is deleted, your Stardust and everything you own goes with it, and your display name becomes available to other players.
Some records are kept: past matches (with your name replaced), purchase records, and any abuse reports about you. The Privacy Policy explains what and why.
10. Your rights over your data
The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. You can download everything we hold about you from Menu → Account → Download my data.
11. What we are and are not responsible for
Nothing here takes away rights you have by law as a consumer. Where the law gives you a right, that wins over anything in this section.
Beyond that: the game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress, lost items, downtime, or anything you lose because of another player's behaviour.
Where liability can lawfully be limited, ours is capped at the greater of: the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or GBP 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Changes to these Terms
We will publish an updated version here with a new version string and date. For material changes we will ask you to agree again next time you open the game.
13. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not take away the protection of your own country's consumer law, and you may be able to bring a claim in your own local courts. Nothing here is intended to override rights you have where you live.
